uff-da!

yes, i'm finally getting photos and all the packaging ready to go to the printers for the upcoming LOVEBOMB sewing pattern line.

here's a sneak peek at the mongoram quilt. the monogram is actually hand-cross stitched. the pattern comes with a cd with letters that can be cross-stitched or used as a template to cut out of fabric.

ok, i live for a ton of color!

for a visual-freak, color is like oxygen.

my office phone - notice it's not connected

i pinned up color swatches for the "scandi land" fabrics in my studio today. the thought is (i'm knocking on wood as i type) is that when the ribbon and fabric ship - the colors will all be the same.

ok, now that i can breathe, back to work.

i couldn't take it any longer!

i received strike-offs of my upcoming woven ribbon line for renaissance ribbons! while i was warned they aren't perfected yet - just seeing REAL ribbon with my designs had me doing cartwheels.

this is where you would think there should be a pic of me doing cartwheels. you are kidding right?

since i will be participating in stitchin' heaven's upcoming twitter party and wanted to get my prizes together, i thought what better way to give a sneak peek not only at the ribbons and fabric but also my stationery line.

sorry the pics are a bit fuzzy - my 7 year-old sorta' trashed my camera so i am using the camera on my phone.
i know!! time to get a new camera!!

so here's my small blog post for a bright and sunny monday morning:

"how thoughtful of the washer/dryer repairman to coordinate his shoes with my welcome mat!"

this is a prime example of the little things in life that usually go by unnoticed. some are a bigger deal than others. this isn't so much of a "big deal" as much as it's something most wouldn't notice (or care about). yet, someone who is a "visual - freak" like me, just might. i got a pretty big chuckle (well, maybe not so much outwardly, but certainly i was "laughing on the inside", as my 8 year-old son would say.)

hope your week is brightly, if only briefly, color-coordinated. oh and speaking of "briefs", at least i can now wash-and-dry them around here.

so... any little things in life you'd like to share???

i am getting my new blog up (while trying to complete designs for a new fabric and ribbon line, be a mom, design patterns, write a book and not totally lose all my marbles).

thinking a little post was better than no post at all. after all, i want to give any of you that may land here, the heads-up about the ton of stuff i'll be sharing in the upcoming week or two - not to mention a few give aways. so, i promise if you stop back- there will be tons of fun awaiting you! you won't want to miss if you are a quilter, sewer, crafter or someone that just likes to have fun...

to think, you could party with over 100 people and never have to get out of your jammy's or leave your house!
